UI/UX
A gift website for a local baker, taking her from social-only and DM orders to a structured, launch-ready online presence.
The Maker & A Baker had built loyal demand through social media alone, taking every order through direct messages. New customers had no central place to view offerings, understand drop schedules, or see what was available. Everything ran through manual conversations, which cost time, created confusion, and made it harder to grow beyond a small circle of repeat buyers.
I designed and built a simple, warm website that feels like the brand: handmade, local, and trustworthy. The layout focuses on clear product categories, featured items, and an easy path from browsing to placing an order. Core pages and sections are in place, including an about story, menu overview, and an order-flow framework ready for integration with the owner’s preferred ordering and payment tools. The site now gives her a proper front door for future launches, instead of relying entirely on social feeds and back-and-forth messages.
The site currently functions as a launch-ready shell while the owner finalizes product integration and fulfillment details.
